Description
Gamewatchers Safaris is a Kenyan safari company founded in 1989 by Jake Grieves-Cook, with its head office opposite The Hub Karen on Africa Reit Lane in Karen, Nairobi. It is known for its Porini camps, small eco-friendly tented camps set in private wildlife conservancies that it runs in partnership with the Maasai landowners.
The camps include Porini Mara Camp, Porini Cheetah Camp and Porini Safari Cottages in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy, Porini Lion Camp in Olare Motorogi, Porini Amboseli Camp in Selenkay, Porini Rhino Camp on Ol Pejeta and Rhino River Camp near Meru, plus Nairobi Tented Camp inside Nairobi National Park. Guests enjoy small-group game drives and walking safaris in uncrowded wilderness.
The team also plans tailor-made holidays such as honeymoon, family, migration, birdwatching and beach safaris in Kenya and other African countries. The Karen office is open weekdays and on Saturday mornings. Plan your trip on the Gamewatchers Safaris (Porini) website.
