Description
Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp is a classic tented safari camp in the Mara North Conservancy, a private conservancy on the northern edge of the Masai Mara ecosystem in Narok County. It is part of the Elewana Collection of lodges and camps in Kenya and Tanzania.
The camp is known for combining rustic simplicity with luxury. Its remote setting keeps the night skies dark, and guests often hear lion, leopard and hyena around camp after dinner by the campfire. Mornings begin with tea and freshly baked biscuits before game drives or bush walks with experienced local guides and rangers.
Because it lies in a conservancy, the camp can offer night game drives and walking safaris that are not allowed inside the national reserve. The area has over 450 bird species and big cats, elephants and buffalo year-round, and the wildebeest migration passes through from July to November.
Rates and reservations are on the Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp page.
