The Beacon Academy Embu – Primary School in Embu

The Beacon Academy is a private primary school on the Embu–Siakago road in Embu. It was started from scratch in September 2013, when only one pupil reported in the first week; by the end of that term at least 11 pupils had registered, and two years later the school had 51 children.

The school has since grown to about 250 pupils, and it sat its first KCPE examinations in 2019. It promotes values such as accountability, independence and impartiality, encouraging free thinking and objectivity in decision-making, and it aims to give every child a strong academic and moral foundation.
