Sunset Hotel Kisumu – Hotel in Kisumu

Sunset Hotel Kisumu opened its doors on 26 November 1977 and has been part of the city's hospitality scene for nearly five decades. It stands on Aput Lane off Impala Walk in Milimani, the leafy neighbourhood above the shores of Lake Victoria, and the sunsets over the lake gave the hotel its name.

The original grey stone and yellow stucco building has been updated over the years, with expanded recreation facilities and modernised rooms. Guests can relax by the swimming pool, eat at the hotel restaurant and use the conference spaces for meetings, workshops and events.

The hotel aims to be a leader in regional tourism, hospitality and conferencing, and its Milimani address puts it within easy reach of Kisumu CBD and the lakeshore. Reception is open 24 hours.
