Our client is a dynamic Forex Bureau in Nairobi with branches all over the city, and they are seeking an Administration Manager to join their team. This position will require a mature individual who is self-motivated, proactive, and can oversee all the branches while possessing excellent accounting skills. The ideal candidate must be flexible to travel to different branches when required. Prior experience in the banking, Financial Service, or insurance sector would be an added advantage. Additionally, candidates who are fluent in Punjabi, Gujarati, Hindi, or Islamic will have an added advantage.
The Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operational, administrative, and financial functions of the forex bureau. This will include performing compliance and audit functions, setting a good track record of progressive achievement of set goals and targets, managing the day-to-day trading of all the branches, and ensuring their profitability. They will also ensure that an effective internal control system is maintained and adheres to all statutory requirements, and liaise with other department heads in the day-to-day running of the bureaus while reporting to the overall manager.
Qualifications for the position include a relevant bachelor's degree, excellent accounting skills, and prior experience in the Financial Service Sector. The ideal candidate should be of a mature age with proven experience in office administration, possess impeccable integrity, have a fiduciary mindset with a growth mentality, and excellent communication skills, written and oral. They should also be computer literate, able to work independently with minimum supervision, and be organized, proactive, autonomous, and enjoy teamwork.
The Administration Manager will receive a monthly gross salary of Kes. 100,000, and the position is at a mid-level career level with a Bachelor's degree as the required level of education. The location of the job is in Nairobi, Kenya, with the deadline for application being 21st April 2023.
