This job requires the candidate to lead business process improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiencies and effectiveness. The candidate will act as a liaison between the Business and IT teams to understand business initiatives and their impact on technology. They will be responsible for documenting business requirements and processes for all business initiatives and projects. The candidate must be able to provide leadership in breaking down the business vision and strategy into technology deliverables.
The candidate will also work with business leaders to identify business capability needs and IT integration. They will facilitate the identification and analysis of the Bank's business drivers to deliver enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architecture requirements. The candidate will assess the current business framework to detect critical deficiencies and recommend improvements in line with the IT strategy and delivery priority of the IT/Bank programs.
As part of their role, the candidate will function as a liaison to Business and IT partners to understand industry trends and innovations and their impact on technology. They will provide an analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities, which may include process improvement vis-a-vis information technology systems enhancement. They will provide architectural oversight of projects and ensure that requirements are in alignment with business strategies and the business architecture roadmap/framework.
Additionally, the candidate will participate and guide on functional tests planning and execution and participate in the IT quality assurance process.
The minimum requirements for this job include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study. The candidate must also have at least one professional qualification in the following list: CBAP, TOGAF, ITIL Foundation, or Prince2. They should have seven years of progressive experience in Information Technology with at least five years of experience in at least two IT disciplines such as Application Architecture, Application Development, Integration, Micro Services, and Software Asset Management in a multitier environment. The candidate should have experience with Operating systems (Windows/ Unix) and Database Management Systems. They should have exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills. The candidate should have excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to breakdown complex items to manageable components. They should also have experience and familiarity with graphical modeling approaches, tools, and model repositories. Lastly, they should have the ability to balance the long-term (big picture) and short-term implications on individual components and projects.
