A call for tender has been issued by NAPAD, which is implementing a 36-month project in Gedo region, Somalia and Mandera County, Kenya. The project is aimed at improving the livelihood of vulnerable pastoral communities who have been affected by drought. One of the key objectives of the project is to establish an agricultural value addition center and capacity building for small holder farmers at Kabasa Farm in Dollow District, Gedo Region, Somalia.
The tender requires quotes for the provision of electrical materials for the value addition center. The materials required for power intake and power distribution have been listed in detail in the tender. They include 100mm diameter Heavy gauge duct for incoming underground LV cables, 50KVA Generator, CCTV and data installation connection charges, amongst other materials.
The hard copies of the quotes can be delivered to NAPAD's Nairobi office. The tender does not mention any deadlines for the submission of quotes.
