Our client, a beer distributor responsible for delivering products to customers, building relationships, and providing a clear path for sales and service to retail accounts is seeking a talented individual with strong data analysis skills to join their team. The purpose of this role is to transform raw data into meaningful statistics, information, and explanations that will help the company make better-informed and successful decisions.
The role requires daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, which involves gathering, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data using different approaches to ensure effective sales. The individual will also be responsible for developing and maintaining databases and data systems, reorganizing data in a readable format, analyzing sales trends, and preparing reports for the sales team and management that clearly state trends, patterns, and predictions. Additionally, the individual will work closely with the sales manager to identify opportunities for strategy improvement.
The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, along with strong analytical skills, particularly in sales and market trends. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with excellent customer service, management, negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills, is also essential. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and have a Degree/Diploma in IT/Statistics, proficiency in data mining and analysis systems, and proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, and SAS to be used for data set analyzing.
The individual should also have at least 2 years of demonstrated experience, and the salary for the role is between Kshs 35,000/- to 38,000/- (Gross per month).
