Position Overview:
As an Enumerator, you will work under the guidance of the Senior Field Supervisor, primarily responsible for collecting high-quality data in the field. Your role will involve various duties and responsibilities outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively participate in and complete training sessions.
Collect data using SurveyCTO, pilot surveys with minimal supervision, and adhere to the study protocol.
Ensure proper screening of respondents, obtaining informed consent.
Interact with study respondents and project partners with integrity and empathy.
Provide feedback during debriefs to improve survey tools and data collection.
Maintain data integrity, minimizing errors in data collection.
Timely completion of scheduled activities each day.
Safely manage project inventory, including electronic devices and stationery.
Document field issues and report them to your supervisor.
Track expenses and report them to your supervisor.
Assist in other project-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor. Qualifications:
Minimum diploma in a health-related course (e.g., nursing, medicine, pharmacy, medical laboratory, public health, etc.).
Experience in research related to sexual and reproductive health is an advantage.
At least 1 year of experience in quantitative data collection.
Strong writing and analytical skills, able to work with minimal supervision.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, excellent listening skills, and comfortable discussing sensitive topics.
Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili.
Experience with mobile data collection software is a plus.
