An exciting opportunity awaits for a Farm Supervisor to join a small, innovative company involved in farming activities in Kwale County. As the Farm Supervisor, you will oversee all farm operations and daily activities related to the production and harvesting of passion fruit, honey, and sugar cane on approximately 50 acres of land. The farm has plans for expansion and the introduction of new agricultural products. Currently, the farm spans 85 acres, employs 5 full-time staff members, and hires up to 20 casual laborers as required.
Monthly Salary: KES 20K – 30K
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum requirement: Diploma in Agriculture.
3 to 5 years of experience in agricultural production.
Ideally, 1 to 2 years of experience supervising farm workers and laborers.
Knowledge of herb cultivation and/or passion fruit farming would be advantageous.
Familiarity with health and safety protocols is necessary.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong leadership skills. Job Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day agricultural activities on the farm.
Prepare land, oversee planting, and manage crops until maturity and harvest.
Maintain and oversee the farm stores, including farm implements.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation.
Supervise the farm staff effectively.
