The Field Sales Executive position reports to both the Regional Manager and Head of Retail. The primary function of the role is to attract new clients, acquire new accounts, and maximize profitability within the sales territory. This includes developing new leads, educating customers, and converting interested shoppers into long-term customers throughout the sales cycle.
The principal accountabilities of the Field Sales Executive include developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating new leads, visiting potential customers throughout the territory, representing the brand during all interactions with customers and prospects, educating customers on product or service benefits, monitoring competitors, and creating and maintaining accurate sales reports.
The ideal candidate for this job should be highly organized and able to manage their schedules to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment. They should focus on customer needs and exceed their expectations while being an excellent communicator, delivering compelling sales presentations, and negotiating effectively with customers. The education and experience requirements for this job are a bachelor's degree in sales and marketing or any other business-related course, at least 2-3 years of experience as a field salesperson in a similar position (B2B Setting) in the automobile or related industry, good knowledge of automobile mechanics, a valid driver's license with the ability to travel to customer locations within the designated territory, and computer literacy.
