Our fast-growing courier company is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting HR policies and procedures, recruiting and hiring new employees, managing employee benefits, and maintaining positive employee relations. The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. They will also be responsible for supporting the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and extending job offers. In addition, the Human Resource Officer will maintain accurate records of employee information, including employment contracts, job descriptions, and performance reviews.
Furthermore, the Human Resource Officer will assist in managing employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time-off policies. They will address employee concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, they will develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge and conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback to employees on their performance. The Human Resource Officer will also assist in developing and implementing employee retention strategies.
To qualify for this position, the applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. They must also have 3+ years of experience in human resource management, preferably in the courier or logistics industry. Additionally, they must have knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are a must, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The applicant must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management software.
