We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our global legal consultancy, based in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be a Kenyan national aged between 35-45 years and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a reputable internationally affiliated law firm. They must have strong technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, particularly in legal and accounting software, including Microsoft 365. Strong project management skills are also required, as well as experience in managing technology operations across multiple locations in a global organization.
The IT Manager will be responsible for the oversight of all technology operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems across our company network. They will be responsible for the development and implementation of IT strategies and policies to align with business objectives and ensure optimal performance of technology systems. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, foster relationships with key stakeholders including our international offices, and ensure that technology initiatives align with business goals. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure data privacy.
The IT Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions, manage the IT budget, and ensure that resources are effectively utilized to deliver maximum value to the organisation. They will stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations and make recommendations on how to leverage them to drive business growth.
