Sevi is a provider of the 'Order now, Pay later' app in Kenya and Uganda. Our mission is to empower entrepreneurs by providing them with ethical and affordable credit, enabling them to grow their businesses. With our app, small shops and kiosks can purchase stock on credit from suppliers and pay later, once they have sold their stock.
Sevi has a successful model with a growing customer base and now aims to scale up operations in Kenya. As the Key Accounts Representative, your primary responsibility will be to acquire and onboard new Seller accounts on the Sevi app. Our strategy involves working through structured value chains, so you will focus on onboarding formal/structured sellers. This requires experience in selling financial products, assessing creditworthiness, and the ability to convince and sell at the boardroom level.
Acquire and onboard new key accounts.
Research and identify promising value chains and verticals.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Assess creditworthiness of potential sellers.
Provide technical support during the onboarding process.
Address customer queries and complaints, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
Follow up on late payments through sellers.
Continuously identify opportunities for growth and improvement in existing accounts.
Monitor competition and provide insights to the company.
Whom are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Strong adherence to integrity and reliability.
Proven work experience in sales as a Key Account Specialist or similar role.
Proactive and determined mindset.
Tech-savvy with experience using mobile apps.
Preferably, experience in the financial/fintech and/or FMCG sectors.
Ownership mentality towards deliverables.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
