Kapsowar Mission Hospital, a faith-based hospital with 130 beds, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. Located in Elgeyo Marakwet County, the hospital serves as a level 5 facility, catering to the local community and beyond. Situated approximately 1.5 hours north of Eldoret on well-maintained roads, the hospital comprises around 25 buildings and includes a Medical Training College on its campus. Given the ongoing maintenance and project work, the role necessitates careful planning, cost estimation, and supervision.
Job Summary:
Take charge of overseeing all maintenance activities at the Hospital and MTC, encompassing a wide range of tasks such as masonry, electrical work, plumbing, and more.
Proficiency in documenting required work using spreadsheets, cost estimation, work planning, and involvement in the procurement process is essential.
Supervise a team of hospital maintenance staff or contracted personnel to ensure the completion of high-quality work within stipulated timeframes and cost-effective maintenance practices.
Provide regular in-person and digital reports to hospital management. Qualifications/Documentation:
Possession of a Diploma in Building Construction Technology.
Higher Diploma in Project Management.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in building trades or on-site construction supervision.
Must be a committed Christian capable of working within a faith-based environment.
Submit a comprehensive CV displaying all diplomas or certificates along with three references (including one from a Church leader).
