This job description is for a sales and marketing position with a real estate company. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company at designated sites, sourcing new business, and marketing the company's property listings to potential clients. The position involves carrying out sales, sourcing, and rental activities, disseminating information about the availability and status of properties, and handling client inquiries promptly.
Other responsibilities include meeting with landlords, property owners, and developers on behalf of the company to obtain their property for development, joint ventures, management, and sale. The candidate will also prepare marketing presentations for pitching purposes, file all documents regarding property, and communicate any changes to the Marketing Manager and other concerned parties.
The position requires a diploma in Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field from a recognized university or college, a passion for the marketing industry and its best practices, and a strong desire to learn along with professional drive. Previous marketing experience is an added advantage, as is experience in engaging with corporate clients. The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, as well as proficiency in English and Kiswahili and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
The ideal candidate will have a go-getter attitude, strong communication and people skills, be self-motivated, and have strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills. Customer orientation and the ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters are also important qualities. The salary for this position is 20,000.
