This job opening is located in Kilifi County and reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. The purpose of this position is to plan and execute programmed marketing activities and campaigns to fulfill emerging demand and sustain the brand image.
The responsibilities of the role include anticipating and planning for emerging demand opportunities, planning and running the DME, executing all campaigns brought forth by TCCC, making available the company range of products during special events and exhibitions, stimulating consumption at the point of sale, and coordinating the coverage of special events across the territory.
The individual will also plan, procure, and mobilize promotional resources to facilitate consumer promotional activities, plan and implement market development initiatives such as branding and cold drink availability, report competition activities, and plan on how to counter them. Additionally, the role will undertake marketing information system function aimed at providing marketing performance, market intelligence, and marketing survey reports, as well as undertake independent assessments of RED and submit results for management information and action. The role may also perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for the role include a Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar. A master's degree in a relevant field will be advantageous, along with at least two years of experience as a marketing manager.
