This job posting is seeking a Marketing Officer to join a well-established retail company. The role reports to the Sales Director and is full-time with a salary of 80,000 gross.
The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Marketing and be a member of a relevant professional body. They should also have over 5 years of experience in a busy environment, with demonstrated experience launching a brand from conception, proven experience in brand awareness building, and experience in BTL, ATL, and In-store promotions and branding. Experience working in a marketing agency or with FMCG products or MT products is an added advantage.
The Marketing Officer should be able to do a multi-faceted brand and marketing plan with assured results, conceptualize, plan and execute a 360 plan for brands, and brief agencies on brand developments. They should also have excellent negotiation skills and be able to take the lead on bringing agencies together to work on brand development. Additionally, they should be resourceful and know how to improvise, and be able to work long hours when required. They should also have the ability to adapt and change plans quickly to suit the situation as it demands.
The ideal candidate should be energetic, dynamic, and possess creativity as an out-of-the-box thinker. They should also be proficient in computer packages and be able to deal with promotions end-to-end, including concept, execution, team leading, client relations, and reporting.
