We are currently seeking a Packing Technician with a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. The position is based in Thika, and the successful candidate will be part of the middle management team in the FMCG-Biscuits segment. The ideal candidate should be a Kenyan national aged 30 or above.
The incumbent should have at least 5-8 years of related work experience, preferably in the Biscuit line, and should be technically qualified. They should be well-versed in handling Horizontal Packing machines, be able to handle a workforce of 200 workmen per shift, and perform changeovers during variety changes quickly. The ideal candidate should be able to train operators and work on productivity improvement in their area of work.
The position offers a gross salary ranging from Kshs. 50,000 to Kshs 80,000, with higher salaries being considered for exceptional professionals. Benefits will be as per the company's rules.
