We are an organization, securing bright futures for orphans and vulnerable children .

”Building a Better Future” is a project run by Towers of Hope community based
organization under the umbrella body of Project One to One,which is currently based in Kenya, East Africa. Our vision is To secure a good future for the needy children through education and health support and our mission is to identify the orphans and vulnerable children and to provide them with necessary educational support and health among others.

The main objective of Towers of Hope is to mobilize resources in providing quality education and health to orphans and vulnerable children in neglected communities. The organization was legally registered in April 2010 with the Government of Kenya through the ministry of gender, children and social development.

We aim at securing good futures for needy children through education and health programs among others.

The project was motivated by the impact of HIV/AIDS at household’s level which seems to be a specific challenge for women and children. There is a notable increase in female and children headed households who are mostly widows and orphans. Those households generally have no constant income, which impacts on the capacity of these households to cope with the effects HIV/AIDS and the ability to buy nutritious food and medication for those suffering from HIV/AIDS.

Most of the children that we care for are out of school because of lack of basic needs like food, proper shelter clothing and medicine, despite the free primary education program initiated by The Government of Kenya, Towers of Hope seeks to offer paradigm shift through provision of school fees, stationery, food, clothing counseling and medical care to the orphans ,vulnerable and HIV positive children.

It also seeks to empower heads of vulnerable families and their families to be self sufficient andself- supporting.
