Our client, a milling company of a popular Flour Brand in Kenya, is seeking to hire a Sales and Marketing Executive to increase sales, formulate advertising and marketing strategies, increase brand awareness, conduct market research, and maintain relationships with the media and vendors. The successful candidate must have five years of sales or marketing experience in the milling sector, selling or marketing Flour.
The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns. They will conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies and organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, website, TV, etc.), exhibitions, and promotional events. The Sales and Marketing Executive will conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, and competition ventures. They will maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities and collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for ensuring effective Marketing & Branding campaigns that enhance the image of the Company and its products. They will liaise and work closely with Account Managers in determining all upcoming and ongoing product rollouts and generate detailed data on market segmentation, competitor analysis on pricing and promotion initiatives to enhance customer loyalty.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a relevant bachelor’s degree, training in Public relations is an added advantage, and proficient knowledge of Sales Software i.e CRM. Membership of a professional body will be an added advantage. They should have good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis, and statistics methods.
The monthly gross salary for this role is Kes 180,000, and it is a mid-level career position based in Nairobi, Kenya. The deadline for applications is 5th May 2023.
