As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales goals. You will negotiate all contracts with prospective clients and prepare weekly and monthly reports. Additionally, you will give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients, coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs, and understand and promote company programs. Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients, preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders, and visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services will also be part of your duties. You will maintain client records and answer client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years of work experience in marketing or sales field, with an understanding of the sales process and dynamics. You must have a commitment to excellent customer service and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you should have superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks and competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook are also required. You must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, and driving experience will be an added advantage.
