We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team, responsible for growing sales generated from several market segments in Nairobi and Eldoret. This is a contractual position for individuals below 35 years of age and female.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing the brand, marketing, customer support, market intelligence, and building strategic partnerships with customers to ensure the company’s sales strategy is implemented.
Key duties and responsibilities include growing sales volumes for the company, identifying new business leads for the different products offered, presenting, promoting, and selling products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, and establishing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships. The Sales Representative will also expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction, achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule, and coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
The successful candidate will prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on the activities at the outlet, monitor sales activities within the outlet and timely give feedback on the same, carry out any other tasks assigned by the Sales Supervisor, and be ready to work under minimum supervision.
Minimum qualifications for this position include a Diploma in Sales and Marketing or business-related fields from a recognized institution, at least three years of experience as a sales representative in an FMCG environment, good communication skills, good customer service skills, and high integrity. The Sales Representative should also be a team player and coachable.
Required competencies for the Sales Representative include accountability, customer focus, creativity and innovation, and commitment and dedication. The salary for this position is 25,000 plus bonuses.
