Job Mission
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, your mission is to support, develop, and maintain BI assets to improve insight delivery and decision-making. You will work closely with the BI Operations Lead and manage a team of analysts to support data collection and data automation initiatives that align with business definitions. You will also proactively identify trends that can help other business stakeholders make business decisions to modernize and improve processes.
Reporting Structure
You will report to the BI Operations Lead and supervise a BI intern.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include providing analysis and insights to business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making, developing and maintaining BI assets, creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards and reports, ensuring effective knowledge sharing, providing data extraction and reporting support, owning the CRM, and managing a team of analysts to support data collection and data automation initiatives. Additionally, you will provide monthly, quarterly, and weekly reports on business performance.
Technical Skills
Your technical skills will include maintaining/providing technical support in terms of code for the development of dashboards, KPIs, reports, and other analytical artifacts. You should be familiar with data extraction, cleansing, and transformation processes, mid-level SQL code, deriving data metrics and KPIs, and have experience with BI visualization tools. You should also have a proven track record in driving data automation and defining processes.
Management Skills
Your management skills will include guiding and training the BI intern into the business analyst role through technical training and how to communicate with stakeholders to meet BI deliverables.
Profile Requirements
Your profile should include a passion for data and its impact in the real world, proven experience in data analytics and insight generation, experience with sales CRMs and other productivity tools, and excellent communication skills. You should also have 4+ years of experience in data analytics.
Added Advantage
Experience in machine learning & predictive analytics, report writing/data analysis/statistical interpretation, and experience with PL/SQL and stored procedures, and Deluge/Java will be an added advantage.
Key Relationships
You will have key relationships with the BI Operations Lead, Chief Product and Growth Officer, brand CEOs, functional teams in markets (sales, operations, recruiters, marketing, finance, and CX), and business key internal & external stakeholders.
