The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, journalism or related field with proven experience as a Social Media Representative. They should have proof of active and interactive social media pages and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should also have hands-on experience with social media and social media tools, a savvy understanding of pop culture, and good organizational skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Media Representative will be responsible for creating and sharing daily original content across all social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Telegram) that promotes the company's brand and builds meaningful connections with the community. They will collaborate with other departments to ensure the content is appealing and captures the clients leading to relevant conversions. The representative will ensure that social media strategies align with the company's goals and monitor current market trends to use them to the company's gain. Additionally, they will engage with the online community and respond to questions, comments, and requests.
The Social Media Representative will use analytical tools like Google Analytics to monitor the company's social presence and performance. They will also be responsible for receiving and making calls to clients and prospective clients and guiding/helping them accordingly. The representative will stay up to date with social media trends and use emerging trends to gain more following. Furthermore, they will work with the sales team and Business Development Manager to generate leads and create editorial calendars and post schedules.
