The 18th KENCTAD Conference will center around SDG 13, which pertains to Climate Action. Climate action denotes the actions taken by governments, organizations, individuals, and communities to address the problem of climate change and reduce its negative impacts. The aim of climate action is to mitigate the effects of climate change and guarantee a sustainable future for everyone.
Climate change affects everyone, and this conference will highlight the significance of taking action to minimize its effects. By educating and involving individuals and communities, we can create a collective effort to lower carbon emissions, adapt to the evolving climate, and preserve our planet for future generations.
This conference will bring together specialists, industry leaders, and individuals who are dedicated to addressing the critical issue of climate change and to advocate for SDG 13 Target 13.3, which is to enhance education, awareness-raising, human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction, and early warning.
