Description
Turkana University College was established on 27th January 2017. It is Kenya’s first Public University to be established in the vast resource-rich area of northwestern Kenya. The University College is located in Turkana County. The Institution is a Constituent College of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and was inaugurated by His Excellency and Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, Honourable Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
Turkana University College was established with the aim of providing holistic education in humanities, science, and technology for the development and management of unexploited natural resources in Turkana County and the nation at large. It also aims at creating, preserving, and disseminating knowledge and skills through teaching, research, and outreach for the advancement of humanity.
