Wild Supper in Mathare and a Moveable Forest

This event invites you to join Stoneface Bombaa and his team in the Future Tree Ritual, aimed at planting 2,000 trees in the Mathare settlement. Mathare is currently lacking trees and green spaces, hence the need for this initiative. Attendees will partake in an immersive tree mourning ritual and have the unique opportunity to wear helmets with living trees, creating a mobile forest when worn in a group. The event will conclude with a sit-down dinner by the Mathare River, drawing attention to the ecological issues facing the area.
