Description

The Outspan Hotel is a historic hotel in Nyeri town in central Kenya, opened in the early 20th century and known for its colonial charm. Its lawns and gardens look out towards the Aberdare Ranges, and it has long been a favourite stop for travellers heading to the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.

The hotel is closely linked to Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the scouting movement, who spent his last years in a cottage on the grounds, and the Baden-Powell museum nearby draws scouts and visitors from around the world. Accommodation is in a range of rooms and cottages, and the hotel has a restaurant, bar and facilities for meetings and events.

Rooms, the restaurant and reservations are on the official website.
