Description
St. Paul's University is a private ecumenical Christian university in Limuru, Kiambu County, set in the cool green highlands north-west of Nairobi. Its history goes back to 1903, when it began as a divinity school to train church ministers, making it one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in East Africa. It received its university charter in 2007.
Today the university offers certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in theology, business and leadership, communication, computing and information technology, social sciences, education and health sciences. It is sponsored by several Protestant churches and remains a leading centre for theological education in Africa, while its professional programmes attract a wide range of students. Besides the Limuru main campus, it runs a Nairobi campus for working students.
Admissions run several intakes a year. Courses, fees and contacts are on the St. Paul's University website.
