Rongo University – University in Migori

Rongo University is a public university located at Kitere Hills near Rongo town in Migori County, south-western Kenya. It grew out of a constituent college of Moi University and was awarded its own charter in 2016, with the motto of being a University Without Borders.

The university offers certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through schools covering education, agriculture and natural resources, science, technology, business, arts and social sciences, and information and communication. It is also known for research and innovation work serving the Lake Victoria region.
