The Mawego National Polytechnic

The Mawego National Polytechnic is a public technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institution in Homa Bay County, with its postal address in Oyugis. Its motto is Training is life.

The polytechnic offers diploma, certificate and artisan courses in technical, business and applied science fields, and admits students through KUCCPS as well as direct applications. It is known for its aquaculture unit, which uses modern equipment to train students in fish farming and has been visited by the Homa Bay governor and national officials. A town campus serves students who need classes that fit around work.
