AGC Tenwek Hospital

AGC Tenwek Hospital is a 562-bed Level 5 teaching and referral mission hospital in Bomet County, serving the South Rift region and patients from across Kenya. Founded in 1937, it is the medical ministry of the Africa Gospel Church, working with World Gospel Mission.

Services include general outpatient and family medicine clinics, eye and dental care, oncology, physiotherapy, mental health and maternal and child health. The hospital runs a 24-hour Accident & Emergency department, ICU and HDU units, maternity and newborn intensive care, renal dialysis, orthopaedics and general surgery, with laboratory and radiology services on site. Its Cardiothoracic Centre is known for pioneering heart surgery in East Africa.
