Blue Post Hotel – Hotel in Thika

Blue Post Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in central Kenya. It opened in 1908 and sits just off the Thika Superhighway, about 5km from Thika town, on a 32-acre property between two rivers and two natural waterfalls, the Thika and Chania falls.

The hotel has 32 rooms with 48 beds in four categories. Executive rooms have spacious balconies facing the Chania Falls, Superior rooms add a furnished lounge area, and Standard rooms sit in the Thika Wing.

Food is a big draw. There are four restaurants, a bar and a coffee shop, including the main restaurant, the Mugithi Garden Bar and Restaurant, the Chania BBQ grounds, the Ostrich Bar and Restaurant and the Sergeants Bar. Fully equipped conference halls, large lawns for events, an animal park, a souvenir shop, a car wash, a barber shop and free Wi-Fi complete the facilities.
