Brackenhurst – Conference & Retreat Centre in Limuru

Brackenhurst is a conference and retreat centre in the green hills of Limuru, about 30 minutes from Nairobi on the Limuru-Banana Road. Its campus sits within restored indigenous forest and landscaped gardens, giving groups and individual guests a calm, well-equipped place to meet, learn and rest.

The centre hosts conferences, workshops and residential programmes in naturally lit halls with audio-visual equipment and flexible layouts. It is also popular for spiritual and personal retreats, team-building programmes run with partner Blue Sky on its trails and grounds, and weddings and corporate events in the gardens and halls.

Rooms mix eclectic character with history, with boutique furniture, natural materials and solar water heating. Beyond the forest, the grounds include a botanic garden, seed bank and tree nurseries, and part of every stay is reinvested in conservation and restoration.

Bookings are on 0748 199 552, 0724 256 721 or 0736 424 242. Rooms and venues are on the Brackenhurst website.
