House of Waine – Boutique Hotel in Karen

House of Waine is a luxury boutique hotel in Karen, the leafy suburb on the south-western edge of Nairobi. The hotel stands on 2.5 acres of gardens and aims to combine the feel of gracious private living with the spirit of modern Africa, offering a quieter alternative to the large city hotels.

There are 11 spacious bedrooms, each individually styled and named after a theme, such as the Safari, Tembo, Ziwa, Pwani and Sahara rooms, plus a separate cottage. Nine rooms can be set up as single, double or twin rooms, and the large marble bathrooms are filled with natural light. Rooms are air-conditioned.

The hotel is known for personal service and its own cuisine, with intimate dining and a quiet evening lounge for guests. A conference room for up to 20 people makes it suitable for small board meetings and private events.
