Ilkeliani Camp – Tented Camp in Maasai Mara

Ilkeliani Camp is a tented safari camp on the banks of the Talek River, with its own footbridge leading straight into the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It was the first property of the Wilder group, opening in 2000 when the company was still known as Africa Eco Wilderness Group.

The camp has 12 tented suites raised on stilts, each with a private deck and canvas sides that can be rolled away to open the room to the river and the bush. The suites are split between an East wing, with Premier and Family suites, and a West wing, with Deluxe and Family suites, and the camp hosts up to 30 guests at a time.

Children are welcome and the camp is fully accessible. Guests can swim in the pool, book a spa treatment or walk through the organic garden that supplies the kitchen, and balloon safaris can be arranged over the Mara.
