Description
Jambojet is a Kenyan low-cost airline that began flying in April 2014 and has grown into the country's leading regional budget carrier. Its main hub is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi, with a secondary hub in Mombasa, and it has carried more than 10 million passengers, many of them on their very first flight.
With over 400 weekly flights, Jambojet links Nairobi with Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Malindi, Ukunda (Diani) and Lamu, while direct services from Mombasa reach Eldoret and Kisumu. It also flies to Entebbe in Uganda. The fleet of 11 De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft seats 78 to 82 passengers in a 2 x 2 layout.
Alongside passenger flights the airline offers cargo, charters, group bookings and the JM Rewards loyalty programme, and fares can be paid by M-Pesa. Sales desks operate at JKIA and in town offices in each destination. Book flights and manage trips on the Jambojet website.
