Kibo Safari Camp – Tented Camp in Amboseli

Kibo Safari Camp is a tented camp just outside Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. It sits along ancient elephant routes and seasonal marshes, with sweeping views of the mountain and easy access to wildlife, and makes a practical base for game drives and cultural encounters.

The camp has 110 self-contained tents for single, double, triple and family stays. Beds are custom-made locally from bush logs, and every tent has a flush toilet, shower and wash basin with hot and cold water. The new Kibo Private Wing is an eco-friendly option for self-catering groups, with full-board dining available.

Meals are served on an open-air terrace under acacia trees facing Kilimanjaro, using farm-to-table ingredients from the camp's own farm. Facilities include a lounge and bar, a swimming pool, spa and massage, an art gallery, a gift shop and conference facilities.

In the evenings, Maasai morans perform traditional dances at the bonfire. Booking requests are made through the Kibo Safari Camp website.
