Lions SightFirst Eye Hospital – Eye Hospital in Loresho

Lions SightFirst Eye Hospital is a charitable eye care hospital on Kaptagat Road in Loresho, Nairobi. It opened in July 1997 under the Lions movement and aims to end preventable and treatable blindness, serving patients from all economic backgrounds.

Eye services cover cataract and cornea surgery, LASIK, children’s eye care and clinics for vitreo-retinal conditions, glaucoma, squint, low vision and orbital oculoplasty. The hospital also runs an eye bank, rural outreach and training for eye health workers.

Beyond eye care there is a dental clinic offering braces, implants, crowns, fillings, oral surgery and whitening, along with an ENT clinic, a diabetes care centre with a foot and wound clinic, a laboratory and a pharmacy. Satellite clinics in other parts of the city extend its reach.
