Ol Malo – Safari Lodge in Ol Malo

Ol Malo is a family-owned and family-operated safari lodge in northern Kenya, founded in 1991 and built and run by the Francombe family. The family's roots go back five generations of ranchers, aviators, philanthropists and conservationists, and the lodge aims to offer adventures that reflect a deep connection to the land and local communities.

Two separate properties, Ol Malo Lodge and Ol Malo House, run along the edge of a plateau. Together they have ten individually designed cliff-top suites with wide views over the bush, suited to couples seeking solitude as well as families and groups. Ol Malo Nomad offers a mobile, more adventurous option.

Experiences include game viewing, walks and rides, cultural visits with neighbouring communities and helicopter safaris across northern Kenya, and the family supports conservation and community projects in the area.
