Decided to help a local start up. The worst idea ever. This has been the most stressful move. They do not own their vehicles so they are on a time crunch to make things happen. This means they are not careful. I have damaged furniture, broken crockery, dirty clothes and linens as they weren’t even hung like other companies but dumped into woven plastic bags, both sites are also damaged, so I will have wooden flooring, damaged doors and chipped walls to fix. I would never use them again. The only silver lining was Eric, who volunteered to finish the job before any promise was made to him to pay him. The lady they hired (because I wondered for diversity and organisation especially in the kitchen why they didn’t have one) lacked any understanding of how to stack pots and organise a kitchen. Pots were placed upside down and any which way, in the process glass lids were also broken. This is ultimately the worst moving company I have ever used.
