Description
St. Angelic Girls Secondary School, now styled St. Angelic Girls' Senior School, is a girls' boarding school in Meru. It is situated near Afya Maize Mill at Gitoro, on the Meru–Nanyuki highway about 2 km from Meru town.
The school was established in 1984 by an educationist whose vision was to support girl-child education in Kenya, and its motto is "Striving to be the best". It stands on five acres with three fully equipped science laboratories, a library, a school farm for agriculture projects, solar lighting and a solar-powered hot water system. The compound is fenced and monitored by CCTV cameras. Suitable class sizes and qualified teachers allow individual attention for every student, and boarders have access to the library, laboratories and entertainment facilities.
