St. Mark's Teachers' College Kigari – Teachers College in Embu

St. Mark's Teachers' College Kigari is a teacher training college off the Embu–Meru highway, about 3 km from Mutunduri market in Embu County. Its roots go back to 1910, when the Church Missionary Society started it as a training centre for catechists and evangelists, and it later grew into a college for teachers.

The college highlights qualified lecturers, a calm learning environment, strong ICT infrastructure and a practical, hands-on approach to teaching practice. It aims to prepare future educators with modern teaching methods and a commitment to lifelong learning.
