Tangulia Mara Camp – Safari Camp in Maasai Mara

Tangulia Mara Camp is a rustic, cosy tented bush camp in the Maasai Mara, perched on a leafy hill overlooking the Olotulo Murt salt lick by the Mara River. It is locally owned and stands on private land, with an emphasis on authentic safari and African experiences.

The camp describes the safari spirit as the feeling when the noise fades and nothing remains but rustling leaves and the sounds of wild animals, and it has built its experience around that sense of peace in a wild place. Tangulia is a Swahili word meaning to go ahead or lead the way.

Activities include guided walking safaris, game drives in the reserve, cultural visits to Maasai villages, bush dining and sundowners by the Mara River. Guests stay in safari tents with personalised service and fine dining, and free high-speed Wi-Fi is provided.
