The Cherangany Hospital

The Cherangany Hospital, formerly Cherangany Nursing Home, is a private hospital in Kitale town on the Kitale-Eldoret Highway in Trans Nzoia County. Established in 1994 as a small facility, it has grown into a Level 5 hospital serving Kitale and the surrounding region.

Services cover outpatient and inpatient care, general medicine, surgery, maternity and paediatrics, a dental centre, a well-equipped medical laboratory, radiology and physiotherapy. The hospital runs a six-bed ICU and HDU unit for critically ill patients. Specialist consultations, minor procedures and diagnostic imaging are available in the outpatient department, which generally runs from 8 AM to 5 PM.
