The Hub Karen

The Hub Karen is a mixed-use shopping and lifestyle complex set on about 20 acres in Karen, the green suburb on Nairobi's south-western edge. Opened in 2015, it brings together retail, dining, offices, health and leisure in one place and has become a weekend gathering spot for families from Karen, Langata and beyond.

The centre is anchored by a large supermarket and has fashion boutiques, banks, pharmacies, electronics and home stores, salons and medical clinics. Restaurants and cafes line its open courtyards, and children enjoy play areas and the man-made lake with boats. A regular programme of markets, concerts, cultural events and seasonal festivals keeps the calendar busy, and there is ample parking on site.
