Chiron Hospital – Hospital in Kisii

Chiron Hospital is a Level 5 private hospital in Kisii town, located behind Deliverance International Church about 50 metres off the Kisii–Kisumu Highway. It started in 2009 as Kisii Medical Diagnostics and Imaging Clinic and has grown into a 250-bed hospital run by Chiron Medical Diagnostics and Imaging Hospital Limited.

The hospital has three operating theatres and its own oxygen plant. Services include an intensive care unit, maternity, a newborn unit and NICU, dialysis, radiology with X-ray, ultrasound and CT scanning, a laboratory, pharmacy and physiotherapy, and an ambulance service.

The hospital is open 24 hours a day and accepts SHA, private insurance and cash patients. It serves Kisii town and patients from the wider Gusii region.
