AAR Hospital

AAR Hospital is a Level 5 private referral hospital on Muthaiga North Road, just off Kiambu Road and across from Karura Forest in Nairobi. The 140-bed facility was designed around calm, green healing spaces and keeps its outpatient department separate from the emergency unit, so walk-in patients and urgent cases are handled apart.

Outpatients can see a general practitioner or a consultant in one of about 20 specialist clinics. The emergency unit runs around the clock, as does the dialysis service. Critical care includes a 12-bed intensive care unit, a high dependency unit and a neonatal unit, backed by four operating theatres, surgical and medical wards, and maternity, gynaecology and paediatric wards with en-suite rooms.
