Dedan Kimathi University of Technology – University in Nyeri

Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) is a public university on the Nyeri-Mweiga road, a short drive from Nyeri town in central Kenya. It is named after the freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi and has grown into one of the country's leading technical universities.

DeKUT offers certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate programmes with a strong focus on engineering, computer science and IT, science, business and hospitality. Its research and innovation centres work on areas such as semiconductors, renewable energy and industrial technology, and the university has exchange partnerships with institutions abroad.
